fuck yeah nostalgia

hey there,

back again. it's only been a week! well, i have lots of papers to write, since my semester ends tomorrow. so, you know. anything but actually working on what i'm supposed to, right?

you know, i'm probably going to catch a lot of hell for this post, and i'm not really upset about it. i've always stuck to my guns, and let's be honest here, what i'm about to say will probably never be said by anyone. 

i love fallout boy.

okay, let's be more specific here. i love from under the cork tree fallout boy. i love "my songs know what you did in the dark" fallout boy. i love whatever they're doing now (save rock and roll). i don't love fallout boy that came out right before the (not so real) end and patrick stump went out on his on and it was (horrible) awesome. i don't love infinity on high fallout boy (except for 'this ain't a scene it's an arms race'). i don't love folie a deux because really, who does? but i love them all over again after i heard that my songs know what you did in the dark song. 

but anyways, i thought i'd make a list of my favorite fallout boy songs, cause these bangs didn't side sweep themselves.

oh, hey.

i'm back so soon! what?! how? i'm supposed to be writing a paper that's due at 2 and i have classes straight from 11-2. so. clearly i'm not doing what i'm supposed to be doing. and i'm not really sure that i care very much either way.

anyhow, i really like this song. i didn't at first. i'm having a huge issue listening to any of the radio stations in my city because the popular music stations are all playing shitty dance songs and i think they all sound the same. but whatever. so i listen to a lot of slacker radio these days. it was weird at first, but now i love it. i listen to it at the gym because my current music selection is so horrible it makes me uncomfortable how awful it is.

currents

i'm a terrible person.
not really. just really forgetful.

let it be known the alexisonfire concert i was so hyped about was amazing, but that i contracted the worst flu the day of and spent most of the concert laying on the cool cement floor because it was the only way my insides didn't feel like they were cooking. my boyfriend also lost his wallet that night, with all of my money, my id, credit card, debit card and shoppers optimum points (fuckers i have $50 in points, so whatever). it was a night i don't remember because a) mostly delirious and b) delirious.

ANYWAYS.
i've been totally digging the stuff i used to have on cds (kids, you probably won't remember what these things were; i'll liken it to my generation not understanding what the hell a 45' was, and that sickens me).
i remember listening to some of these songs as i drove too fast on the highway coming back from a snowboarding trip. let it be known that for whatever reason i no longer snowboard and i drive like a petrified asian granny when i'm forced to drive on the highway, especially in the winter. dear lord don't make me drive fast in the winter.
