one word: radiohead.
i'm a huge fan of in rainbows at the moment after downloading the entire radiohead discography. i feel so left out of an inside joke having not discovered the vast love i have for this band sooner. thom yorke is a genius. radiohead is perfect for this dreary, snow covered grey skied landscape i find myself living in now. perfect accompaniment for the lonely reading i do on the c-train. tonight i'll think about listening to pablo honey. maybe kid a. the possibilities are infinite at this point, since nothing i've listened to has been bad.
then again, i'm in a honeymoon stage. i'm sure there will be stuff i'm not completly enamoured with.
or maybe not.
i'm also highly intrigued as to what thom yorke has submitted for the nm soundtrack. like the huge nerd i am, i'm eagerly anticipating friday, now that they've bumped up the release date for the soundtrack. so many songs to pour over! so many questions, only to have their answers delivered to me almost a month later.
insufferable.
speaking of insufferable, i have to go read that horrific book because i'm hooked like a junkie. at least i'm past the part where i openly weep in public. did i ever get some weird stares on the c-train as i wiped my tears on my jacket. people don't know how to react when there's someone crying. especially when it seems like it's over nothing. i can't help it.
enough. anyways, a quick playlist since i'm head over heels in love.
