i'm not sure about this...

ok. so for those of you who don't know, i'm a twilighter. i'm not sure how it happened, but i know i can't stop.
so naturally when they released the soundtrack info earlier this week, my little heart went thump thump thump. that and the fact that the male lead in this movie proves to be better than a workout sometimes.
i digress, i get off topic when thoughts of rob (swoon) flutter into my head. i'm a sucker.
so, upon scouring the internet i've come up with my own thoughts, mostly on the tracks that made it. i could only find a few of them, but i'm not too sure i'm feeling any.
i love death cab for cutie, i truly do. but this song is just their same old shit hacked a different way and wrapped up in a twilighters dream; some ghosty sounding vocals with a haunted guitar and lilting beat.
i didn't realize you'd need a coffin to listen to it, because for real, i'm sure my pulse stopped half way through. coma inducing!
another crowd pleaser, muse made it on to the album, something i wasn't shocked at all since the queen of all things twilight, ms stephanie meyer has quoted muse as the reason twilight got written. for christsakes woman! pick a better band! super massive black hole was pretty catchy, like 2 years ago. now i have all these teen girls singing 'supa massive black holllllllllllle' in my head every time i hear this song. ruined! (i would like to now point out that overshadowing that image of skanky hot topic dressed tween girls squee-ing in my head i also see jackson rathbone flipping that heavenly bat, looking extremely yum. you had nothing to do with this so i still blame you for all things horrible, sorry) you have single handedly ruined muse for me. thank god they haven't released their 'i belong to you' as their first single off their new album. i'll be forever thankful for that.
being as my patience won out over my need at this point, this is as far as i got into my research. i was disheartened enough by these gems of 'slit-your-wrist-tastic' new moon sing alongs that i'm really unwilling to give the rest a try. hopefully all hope is not lost; last years soundtrack was a hard hitter and i fell in love all over again with iron and wine, not to mention new comers black ghosts and blue foundation. true love is really finding a song that you can moan along to.

enough for now, there's a lab monitor about...
