if you don't know what the calgary stampede is, you're foreign. if you still don't know what the calgary stampede is, then you're just anti-social and weird. but so am i so it's acceptable, but still kinda freaky.

in laymans terms, the calgary stampede is one of the best, high fah-lutin', boot stompin', cowboy ropin', gay bashin', manure sniffin' good times. and it comes with mini-doughnuts, a rodeo and a midway. and it's only 10 days, so if you can't handle that much two-steppin' it's the perfect length. my liver usually gives out about day 4 of hard drinking, so this is a good break.

average county fair it is not.
