20/20 vision? or is this the swingin' twenties?

happy new year (twenty days late)! things ramped up in November and I managed to slack in being a human just like, in general. Something about my age, knee surgery, the weather and work culminated into making my S.A.D. worse. I'm slowly digging myself out of the mountain of sadness I built during the holidays but, like anyone will tell you, depression kicks your ass and then sits on your chest until you say uncle. Couple this with the fact I'm restricted in how I can get my blood pumping (who wants to go swimming when it's -40C? The answer is no one in their right minds) and I'm just a sad, sad little girl who has become one with her blankets. They've accepted me as an honourary blanket person-- to say that I was touched by the honorific title is maligning my experiences.

Anyways, enough about how I'd rather lie in bed all day, every day, until spring comes (and maybe not even then). I guess I should do a synopsis of what I listened to this year. Thanks to Spotify's deep dive into my listening habits of the last 12 calendar months, this is much easier. I can't remember what I did yesterday morning so thinking back to what I listened to last January would be an exercise in futility.
