if it isn't america being truly despicable (i would put in links here but the evidence that they're just the woorst is pretty self explanatory-- just turn on any news channel you want and see examples a through to greek letters because wtf even is this year?????), or it's canadians doing excellent impressions of being shitty americans, or the fact that it snowed in the middle of october and keeps fucking snowing (ohh how i hate snow), i am 110% done with this year and we've still got 74 fucking days to survive. 

it's times like this where i actually kind of miss lockdown where people weren't allowed to leave their fucking houses where the chances that they could be horrible pieces of human shit were greatly reduced. but here we are. 

i'm just... sad... at how things seem to keep getting worse. have things always been this shitty, or am i just more aware? is the new cycle really just relentlessly pounding us with this to highlight just how terrible things got while we were too busy being busy? 

i don't really want the answers to these questions, since i just want to keep my stick on the ice.
