currents

i'm avoiding doing what i should be doing, which is finishing grading these art history assignments (oh hey, i grade college courses when i'm not doing everything else that i do. fun, huh?) so where else* would i spend lots of time but here putting my curated playlists on the internet for me to look back on later? 

*typically, i scroll reddit but... it's a steaming shit pile right now and i'm just upset about a lot of things so i'm taking a well deserved social media break. them therapists call it a dopamine reset and i think everyone, not just me, is in desperate need of one)*

it's still snowing because if there was one thing this year brings me, it's continual soul crushing disappointment so i guess in that vein things are on brand. i also missed out on the second presidential debate, which in retrospect, might have been a good thing. i'm already feeling a lot of things about everything that's going on and i don't necessarily need to add to the deep chasm of sadness i feel whenever i think about my southern neighbors. so i don't have any cool quips or hot takes this week, but i'm sure i'll have lots to say/think in the coming days.
